Philippians 3:4
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of
God in Christ Jesus.
We are visitors here on earth, there’ll be a time when we
have to be with our Lord Jesus Christ.
The prize we’ll win at the end of our race is to be with
Christ, to live an everlasting life.
What are you doing during your time here on earth?
Are you pressing on towards wrong callings?
Some people are distracted while running, they stop and look
at other things, stay away from temptation and keep on running.
Concentrate on the cross, look up to it whenever you come
across some stones, thorns, snakes and mountains.
The prize our father is giving us when we finish our race is
too high, there’s no show on earth that can match it.
You can enter idols, big brother Africa, even the lotto and
win, that money will not buy your life, it’ll finish.
Our Lord Jesus has paid the prize at the cross of calvary,
so we must grab that prize with both hands and feet.
The things of this world will pass away, but Jesus remains.
What does it gain for a man to lose his sole and gain the
whole world?
Run your race, finish it and rest in Christ Jesus.
